About Us

The quest for KECU is led by Mr. Joshua Mwavita, a retired educator in Mombasa and the KECU Organizing Committee.  Dr. & Mrs. David L. Brenchley lead the effort to engage partners from around the world.  Together we work as a called team of visionaries, entreprenuers and servant leaders.  People from around the world are joining us on the journey to envision, plan, build and operate Kenya Coast University.  Oliver Wendel Holmes Jr. said, "The great thing in this world is not so much where you stand, as in what direction you are moving."  We are moving in the right direction!
